EtE SC Prevention Through Empowerment Preconference Summit
​
Scholarships for persons living with HIV to attend the preconference summit are separate from the conference scholarships. For information, contact dwood@capconsc.com.
The purpose of the preconference summit is to enhance providers skills and empower community advocates in preventing HIV, STDs, Viral Hepatitis, and substance use disorders.
The objectives of the preconference summit are:

To enhance capacity of participants to deliver high-quality care to individuals desiring PrEP. To enhance providers' skills and knowledge about PrEP deliver.

To support wholistic engagement of women in their healthcare throughout the HIV Continuum of Care to achieve consistent viral suppression.

To provide pertinent information on available gender-responsive interventions including biomedical and psychosocial interventions designed to counter isolation and loneliness.

To enhance efforts to reduce internalized stigma, intersectional discrimination, and intergenerational trauma.

To share life and leadership opportunities which enables women to serve as messengers and change agents for other women.
